Mmm… food. So I got a call from Karen saying she’d be back in T.O for the weekend and she wanted to take the entire family out for dinner. We ended up going to Bymark… I have to say, the food is extremely good there, not to mention my brother got to try their infamous $37 burger. It’s not cheap food, but I highly recommend it if you have a special occasion to celebrate or a business deal you want to close. The decor is very business, smart-dressed attire, Bay St., clean lines and nice ambience type of place (if you could even describe decor as that!). I had a good time, got some really nice photos of my family and made sure to drink all the water that we ordered! At $7 a bottle of still water, you’re gonna finish it off, even if it means you’re rolling out the front door. J.

Okay, I thought I would compile a list of lenses that I want to own with a link to Fred Miranda’s lense review site on each of them. (Deep breath) Here goes!

• Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM
• Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM
• Canon EF 28-70mm f/2.8L USM
• Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM

These are pretty hefty priced lenses but hey! A girl can dream! I’ll update this list as I go (as to whether I’ve bought it or if I need to add more…) J.

**UPDATE: Graham has since purchased the 28-70mm lens and I have purchased the 70-200mm lens (it’s not IS but I still love it!)**

***Another update: I’ve since acquired the 28-70mm from Graham and just sold my non-IS 70-200mm and picked up the IS version!!***

Well! I am now officially Sophia’s wedding photographer! We sat down today after our work-out in the gym and went over the contract. It took about an hour to make sure everything was clear and then with all the information written and both of our sigs on the page… it was a done deal!

I am super excited to be shooting Soph’s wedding (definitely a little nervous also).  I’ll update you on my progression to becoming a wedding photographer extraordinaire (WPE)!
