That does it! Enough of these shenanigans! Every day I open up my web browser and my blog stares back at me with accusing eyes as if to say, “Why have you been neglecting me?” I sheepishly ignore the pangs of guilt and continue on into the netherworld of the Internet to forget, momentarily, about the faded cries of despair from my blog all the while knowing that I will face the music one of these days. I guess this is judgment day.

And really, what excuses can I give? Shamefully, I have none. I can’t say I haven’t been out shooting, because I have. I can’t say I don’t really have the time, because in fact, I do. Then what? Sheer and utter laziness. Well, laziness might be too harsh of a word so let’s call it…. simmering.

I have been marinating ideas in my head regarding blog posts. I have collected ideas slowly, and am allowing them to bubble and thicken until they become a substantial meal to be shared on the wonderful dinner table of the Internet. So, I finally made the decision to serve up what I’ve been working on in my head for the past two months and to continue serving it up until the pot gets scraped clean.

It’s a whole new beginning… and while my blog looks at me with not-quite-believing eyes, I know I have a lot of typing to do. I guess New Year’s was a bit of a late bloomer for me this year.
