From the moment we started this session, I knew it was going to be a blast the whole way through. I asked Craig what he was like in front of the camera (Susan, I knew from a previous photo shoot, would be awesome) and the response was “It’ll take a bit to get used to the camera and then it’ll be fine.” Funny… I think it took all of two clicks of the shutter before Craig started to be “fine” and rocked it out in front of the camera!

I know I’ve raved in a previous post about the amazingness of autumn and I might just have to rave again for this session. The colours were just phenomenal. You just can’t buy backdrops like this! Can’t buy models like this either. It was smiles and laughter the entire session with some serious model action going on.

Susan & Craig: I had so much fun shooting this session! Your wedding will be awesome and I know you’ll have an amazing time in the Mayan Riviera!

Much love and appreciation, Jenne.

This was literally one of the first images I captured from this session… are you kidding me?! I feel like it’s something straight out of a magazine ad!

Loving the framing of this one below…

These two were just naturals… and Craig definitely had fun playing it up for the camera!

Just rockin’ it! Unbelievable.

What did I say about phenomenal backdrops… the colours were just amazing.

This one just might be my fave from this session… the colours, the lighting, the gorgeous couple!

Susan’s holding up the CN Tower here… can you see it being held up in the distance?

I’ve always wanted to do an engagement session on the Humber River Bridge down on the Lake Shore and what better opportunity than with these two?!

Did I not say smiles and laughter all around?!

Just handsome as ever, Craig!

Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful!

Yet another fave!

Literally one of the last shots of the session… it was an amazing way to wrap it all up!

There’s something so special about autumn weddings. Perhaps it’s the changing colours of the fall leaves that paint the blue skies with fiery oranges and vibrant yellows. Or maybe it’s the crisp breeze under the warm glow of the sun that still hints at the heat of a summer just passed. Weddings in autumn are simply magical.

When Carolyn spoke to me about her plans for an outdoor wedding, I was stoked. Even more, she told me about the Tralee Wedding Facility in Caledon and I was doubly excited. Tralee is a gorgeous locale for weddings and Carolyn and Justin’s special day was no exception. Reciting vows under the willow trees overlooking an expansive pond was straight out of a wedding fairytale and they absolutely got to live it on their day.

Carolyn & Justin: Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to document such a special moment in your lives together. I’m honoured to have been a part of your journey and it was an incredibly memorable day.

Much love and appreciation, Jenne.

Chantal at Ego Salon did an amazing job styling Carolyn’s hair… and the salon itself just rocked! The decor was pretty cool… I mean, c’mon, Led Zeppelin on the wall?! Awesome.

Carolyn’s dress was absolutely stunning… the delicate lace was perfect on her!

Love, love, LOVE the bouquet and the details below! I told you I love autumn weddings! Magic!

Absolute fave. Carolyn, you look absolutely gorrrrgeous!

A little smidge of mimosa goodness for the pre-wedding prep!

I love simplicity in decor!

Justin and the guys look ever-so-suave! These guys were absolutely hilarious!

Love the drinks in hand… somewhat Reservoir Dog-esque, don’t you think?

Another fave… so many from this day, so hard to choose!

Glimpses of sheer joy during their first dance together!

I love the lighting in this photo… Carolyn’s sister Jaclyn just looks radiant!

It really couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for a wedding. Blue skies, bright sun and a gorgeous-bride-to-be. Agnes was simply that… gorgeous. Her dress was stunning, her hair artfully arranged and her poise was maintained through the thick and thin.

She had some bumps along the path to her wedding day but Agnes pulled through with incredible resilience and the result was a beautiful wedding at the end of it all. Agnes and Karl had a wonderful ceremony at one of the oldest churches in Toronto, St. Michael’s Cathedral, and had an amazing reception afterward at Fantasy Farm. Both families and friends celebrated the joining of a loving couple beginning their journey as one.

Agnes & Karl: Thank you for allowing me to document your wonderful day… there were some glitches but I witnessed some amazing moments as your friends and family pull together incredibly to smooth out the rough patches and make your day a memorable one.

Much love and appreciation, Jenne.

I love this photo… the naturopathic doctor/bride-to-be here is applying ear seeds to calm anxiety… it’s all about the auricular acupuncture!

Right before Agnes sees Karl…

LOVE this image! Agnes looks so fashionista here!

What a stunning couple!

St. Michael’s Cathedral is just phenomenal inside… just breathtaking!
