I know I’ve been somewhat remiss in updating my blog lately… okay, okay… completely remiss, but I will make up for it with everything I’ve got in the months to come. I’m totally pumped for this summer! I get to work with incredible people in documenting some of the most special moments of their lives and I am so honoured. And really… there’s no better way to kick of my photography season than with an amazing maternity session!

There’s just something about pregnancies that really tug at my heartstrings and spending an afternoon with Oxana and Trevor was no exception. Once these two fab parents-to-be took centre stage in front of the camera, it was so obvious that they were excited to welcome their new addition to their lives into this world and their love for each other would be the perfect foundation for an amazing family. There were some moments where I’m pretty sure they forgot I was there because they were so focused and happy to be with each other.

Oxana & Trevor: You guys rocked my world with the openness and emotion that you both had for each other. I love that your baby-on-the-way glow shimmers so brightly in a raw, heartstring tugging kind of way and I want to thank you from the bottom of my tugged out heart for allowing me to experience your happiness with you.
